I would highlight the very considerable danger at the level crossing and the significant risks to the environment and wellbeing of the current population if this redevelopment goes ahead. There is no need for further flat developments in the area.

Balancing the need for affordable housing with improving access this project does neither. We are already strangled by the shortcomings and pressures on road, rail and river crossings....this develoment will add to those.

A development of this size is completely unsustainable given the lack of transport infrastructure. We do not need another riverside development full of expensive flats just like at Battersea Power Station. The height and density of the proposed construction is completely out of character for the area. Affordable low rise family accommodation is what is required. The area simply cannot accommodate a massive 1252 residential units in a gridlocked area. Hammersmith Bridge needs to be fixed as a priority, the Mayor should take the time to visit. It should only take a couple of hours from Tooting, if he gets his chauffeur to drive over in the rush hour.

This development is too big, too high, too dense and will have a catastrophic effect on our community.

Development is far too large for the area. Traffic is already a huge problem. The level crossing is already dangerous for children and parents. The mayor should send someone to witness this at the end of a school day.

I’m all for the old brewery site being redeveloped but this is not the right plan for the location, the area and for the local community. The density and number of the flats planned is too great. The local transport network already struggles and the trains and roads at times would be unbearable.

the impact of the closure of hammersmith bridge has stagnated the whole area. A major construction project and longer term increased population density would cause further strain on an area at breaking point.

Traffic in this area is horrendous.
Not much news on Hammersmith Bridge Richmond is closed to traffic so anyone would be madness.
Sadiq Khan has already damaged shops and people driving into London. He is not fit to be Mayor. Knife Crime has been ignored and everything wrong under his watch is always because of others. We need a Leader that respects and understands the needs of working people

Development is far too large for the plot of land and little if any proper provisions have been made for the probable increase in traffic and pollution.
Local Democracy and accountability under attack here by Mayor Khan.
Along with the Homebase development AND Hammersmith Bridge closure this area will become a traffic and pollution hotspot. No need for another school either.

The Mortlake Brewery Development must not go ahead in its present form - the plan is unsustainable for the local area and will create traffic and transport gridlock. There are far too many flats when what's needed are affordable houses.

I feel all the London Lord Mayor wants to do is to go down in History as the one who provided the most available housing with out taking into consideration how the road system can cope with this, especially in this area. The building of a large school as well will cause even more gridlock on the surrounding roads.
This plus the closed Hammersmith Bridge and no solution in sight for many years will be a complete nightmare for everyone.

There is no way that the level crossing , which already causes hold ups , is going to be able to cope with the increase on traffic. The congestion that has been caused by the closure of Hammersmith Bridge will increase immeasurably. Far too large a development that will cause chaos in an already congested area. Shouldnt we be looking at palcns, for example , to make more of the Green at Mortlake?
I cant see what the advantage is to the people whop live here-or indeed what this project will do to benefit a wider area.
