This proposal does not take in to account the overwhelming lack of infrastructure in the immediate area for a development of this kind. Hammersmith Bridge is closed for the foreseeable future, leading to gridlock along the Upper Richmond Road. The nearby level crossing is down 60% of the time, leading to traffic build up either side of the barriers. The area will become overcome with traffic fumes of vehicles idling as they wait in traffic queues!

The plans are unsustainable & will put extra pressure on local community especially traffic which is horrendous as it is. Has the Mayor got a death wish for this part of London?

This is a very poorly considered scheme. London needs housing but does it have to be of such poor quality. This area has such a rich heritage and is in a beautiful context. Even some of the existing building have wonderful "bones" to work from. Please stop this scheme. Have a competition . Rethink the deliverables . Add something special!

The proposals are completely inappropriate for the local area and would put significant pressure on the already overburdened infrastructure

The proposed number of units is significantly in excess of what the local infrastructure can support, it already struggles. Road conjstion, already bad, will become intolerable.
Where flats are required, the building heights should be lowered and type of units being built reconsidered. People need houses, not flats with associated service charges etc. Many of the flts willprobably remain empty too ike so many other riverside developments.
The proposals simply do not fit the area or its needs!

It will decimated the area. Transport will be overrun. The huge increase in residents will cause danger at our small railway station. This is just a soupcon of the nightmare it will cause.

This development completely outstrips the capacity of the local infrastructure, schooling and amenities. It will place an intolerable pressure on all those living in this area.

Local amenities and facilities (schools, settings for children with SEN, GPs and other healthcare, social care for the elderly and those with learning difficulties, are not available to support this large number of new accommodation within the borough of Richmond.

This needs rethinking and to be designed with public facilities and local need in mind. It is also very disappointing to see authorities supporting the reduction of London green space.

The local area cannot support the increase in people, the infrastructure is simply not here. The proposed development is clearly driven by profit margins and nothing else. No real consideration of the character of the area or the needs of the local community have been taken. This development will ruin air quality and the local environment beyond repair. to proceed with it in this way with overwhelming opposition from everyone it will impact is shameful

The development is too much for the local area and will have a devastating effect on health we should knock down the old factory and put more grass and put some trees up in the place where that old factory used to be. we need to think about the future and our childrens health.

This development is excessive and greedy by the developers and does not take into consideration the problems already with traffic through Barnes which is normally very heavy and is now made worse by the problems with and closure of Hammersmith Bridge. This development is another money making scheme at any cost with no consideration given to existing residents.

I completely object to this development, the traffic and air pollution is already unbearable and this does not provide anything that the local area needs. Shameful misuse of green space and will be the ruination of the local high street. The traffic is continually at a standstill on the upper Richmond road and the train network does not have the capacity either.

The first thing to do right now is, make a dedicated right turn lane at Chalkers Corner. Hammersmith Bridge will not be sorted for very many years. Let alone all the construction vehicles going to the brewery site.
