Why not get the developers to pay the full cost for Hammersmith Bridge replacement as part of the application process

A complete disaster for traffic, pollution and public transport

You MUST sort out Hammersmith Bridge before you allow this development. Traffic in this area is catastrophic and will get significantly worse if this major development is allowed to proceed now. Furthermore we ask that this request, with its excessive number of housing units, and excessive building heights which are not in keeping with the surrounding area and this iconic riverfront landscape.

The development is just not acceptable. This is a very congested traffic area already and together with the current closure of Hammersmith Bridge and problems caused by that will create total gridlock to a very wide surrounding area.

Please don't allow this development to go ahead. The traffic is already absolutely dreadful on the road going past that development area most of the day and there is no where else for traffic to go. The area is gridlocked most of the time so where will all the new residents and businesses access the proposed new development? Unless you build a tunnel to get there from Richmond the whole are will become impassable - particularly in view of the fact that we have no bridge at Hammersmith. The whole area will seize up. Don't allow it please.

why not use this as a brewery- plenty of small micro breweries could use - use sosve to create long term jobs not sure term construction jobs and endless profits for developers

The residents of Chertsey Court Mortlake signed a petition inviting Mr Khan to visit and discuss the problems that the Brewery development proposals would have on the residents living along the Lower Richmond road and Chalkers Corner. It was emailed to Mr Khan by the "Chertsey Court Action Group." What was Mr Khan's reply? His usual reply, "no reply." Courtesy appears not to be a word he understands. He needs to come to Mortlake and learn something about this suburban area before turning it into an urban nightmare and passing any plans. Then again we all know that Richmond upon Thames is not Mr Khan's favourite borough and he doesn't give a monkey's bottom for the health and welfare our community.

This area is choked already with Hammersmith Bridge being closed. It is taking residents hours to make simple journeys. This development is not acceptable and will put greater strain on an already blocked area

The traffic is already horrendous. Don't make it worse!

This is really underhand and coming at the worts timing in relation to the local traffic network issues.

Hell of a lot of traffic as it stands, the amount of cars these new buildings would generate will without doubt cause MAJOR traffic congestion along with extra pollution, Bus 419 from Barnes to Richmond would take forever......this plan as far as I can see was thought up on the back of a postage stamp.

There are simply too many homes planned for this area. The roads cannot cope NOW and would collapse under the weight of traffic from this new development. The train station wouldn't be able to handle the additional traffic either. The place would come to a standstill

The number of houses need to consider existent infrastructure, roads, traffic, as well as the area and iconic nearby landmarks. Please do consider this and reject planning permission that are not aligned with the community.

Please consider the bigger picture and all the consequences of the newly proposed plans. For a Mortlake resident that already knows the strains on the local infrastructure the current proposal for the number of units is shocking.

Mr. Khan as Mayor of London with a team of about 6 , why are you ignoring the Mortlake Community Group who care about the town?

R

Given the lack of adequate roads and infrastructure this level of development is entirely inappropriate.

Absolutely ridiculous that years have now lapsed with no action taken on restoring the bridge. This is a vital link between north of the river and south not just for west Londoners but for the whole of London. Are we in the 21st Century?

It's nothing to do with planning or politics it's just pure common sense! As long as there is no bridge at Hammersmith there is nowhere for traffic to go other than Putney and Mortlake neither of which is coping with the extra traffic so who would now agree to the Mortlake Brewery site plans going ahead... Put it on hold and sort out the existing problems first before agreeing to putting more out there.
