The infrastructure cannot take a development of this magnitude. Traffic is heavily congested in this location at present.

I agree more family homes and local amenities & shops are needed

I am especially concerned about the increased traffic in the area given the uncertainty about the Hammersmith Bridge.

It is not appropriate to build this quantity of housing units at one site. 1252 units = at least 2504 people There is not enough capacity at nearby schools and GP surgeries to accommodate this increase in population.

Revised plans totally over the top. Reduce numbers, reduce heights.

Traffic is already gridlocked in the area so to allow a development of this size to go ahead is totally inappropriate

This development would create gridlock in the area. Please stop it from going ahead.

We do not have the infrastructure to cope with an increase of population in East Sheen of over 25%?

Ridiculous idea! completely unsuitable for the area in its current (infrastructural) condition. The mini roundabout and junction in front of the building is already unable to cope with the amount of traffic!

Totally out of keeping with this traditional riverside area of Barnes and Mortlake. No consideration given to dealing with the additional traffic it will generate on roads and Thames bridges that are already inadiquate . Sheer madness.

traffic congestion that this will incur is deffo not needed together with the unsuitable appearance.

Much too crowded.

This should be a car-free development. Adding hundreds more cars to an already polluted and congested area is plain wrong.

This was a well intended plan originally that needed a little adjusting. It has been meddled with to such a degree now that it has become totally out of keeping with this riverside area. High rise buildings cramming in poorly designed accommodation is not what this area needs. This is simply not. a high rise area. Let’s have a little more respect for the existing community and the riverside ecology and aesthetic, as well as some sensible thinking about the added stress on services, and traffic in particular. This should not be a party political issue but it is noticeable that developers are managing to take advantages that should not be allowed since Richmond Council was taken over by LibDems and this Mayor took over. Once the damage is done the cost of correcting the eyesore and providing the right type of housing will be very high. Unfortunately yet another typical example of wasted money. There are decent and talented planners, architects who are capable of creating sympathetic workable projects. Where are they in this enterprise?

Too dense with no thought to impact on already stretched transport infrastructure. Needs to be completely rethought.
