The development has almost no sustainability credentials and should be reconsidered.

Absolutely unnecessary development. The traffic on Mortlake high street and the Lower Richmond road is already at capacity

This overdevelopment goes against all of the Mayor’s Clean Air policies and needs to be rejected. We urge you Sadiq Khan to listen to the residents whose lives will be detrimentally affected by allowing this to go ahead.

This is not the place for a development of this kind.

The infrastructure just cannot cope with this size of development

This is excessive for the area, the commuter trains pre-Covid were full to bursting, the upper and lower Richmond Roads can’t take extra traffic. And the Plans for a care home have been dropped- this would be welcome for the many elderly living in the area to know they can remain local if they need care.

The proposed development is too high and too big for the area. The river view is very special and should be preserved.

I agree with your every word

The proposals are out of scale for such a small area - and traffic problems will be greatly multiplied.

Please reject the proposals for increased units and heights at the Mortlake Brewery site. The development plans are already deeply inapropriate and not sustainable with the infrastructure.

We need HOUSES not just flats. The current suggested plans are not in keeping with the surrounding area. Blocks are too high. Local infrastructure cannot cope with this proposal. Roads are gridlocked and public transport is overcrowded.

The proposed development for this site are totally inappropriate - far too much squashing people into a small area. Just asking for trouble.

The number of housing units is outrageous coupled with the lack of parking spaces it will be even more unbearable. I'd also suggest a contribution to fixing the Hammersmith bridge to support local infastructure.

Too big a development for local transport links

Not enough transport links to support a development of this size

It seems only commercial interests and profits are important, even at this devastating time of pandemic, global warming and a very troubled world. We who live in this area already suffer awful daily traffic congestion, increased pollution and misery caused by the closure of Hammersmith Bridge. We cannot allow this plan for the Brewery development to go ahead as it stands. Please don't let it happen.

With no infrastructure support this development is madness. The mayor is desperate to show he has dealt with the lack of housing but approving this development with inadequate planning is not the solution

This development is completely untenable, the Infrastucture does not support (neither Road nor rail), the proposed buildings far too high, the traffic is already gridlocked and we do not need the cinema, shops or a school. The high street is already struggling and this will be the final nail in the coffin for East Sheen. The air pollution is already dangerously high and this will completely exacerbate it

Development of the Mortlake Brewery site is an opportunity to provide additional affordable homes in the borough, but the housing density proposed is excessive and totally inappropriate for the local area. The local infrastructure is already overburdened, not least by the closure of Hammersmith Bridge, and I urge the Mayor to listen to local residents and reject these plans unless they are significantly scaled down.
