With the Hammersmith Bridge being closed it is ludicrous to consider the plans for redevelopment of Mortlake Brewery. The roads are already congested. The current plans are not sustainable.

The knock-on effects of this development will be felt beyond Mortlake where traffic is already unmanageable.

I love this building. Let's make sure its surroundings are sympathetic to it, not at odds with it.

It would definately place significant pressure on already overburdened infrastructure which is not good . Also, proposed building heights are excessive, would impact on an iconic listed building .

This is not in keeping with me his historic building and is too big and does not provide enough affordable housing needed.

Even before Hammersmith Bridge closed the traffic congestion in Mortlake and East Sheen was regularly congested. Increased traffic from Mortlake Brewery would make it worse than a nightmare. East Sheen has the atmosphere of a village. Young families move to Sheen to buy their first house due to good schools, recreation facilities, range of retailers - in spite of limited public transport. Sheen needs family houses, not flats.

No consent before Hammersmith Bridge is fixed. Pull the developer's ingenuity and cheque book into the team. They DO things. Quick.

The area is not big enough to support this development. The transport infrastructure struggles as it is. The air pollution in the area is very high with all this traffic struggling to get through a very over populated area already.

Does the Mayor understand the implications of a 40% increase in dwellings at Chalkers Corner as he has already increased the dwelling capacity on the Homebase site!
The infrastructure is not available to meet the influx of new residents!

I suggest the mayor visits Chalkers Corner in order to see the current traffic problems. The junction cannot accommodate more traffic - and this was the case before Hammersmith Bridge was closed. It has obviously become even worse since then with traffic now queuing the entire length of Mortlake High Street and causing high emission levels.
It seems that the planning application for the development did not, nor was it required to, address the issue of the inevitable increase in vehicle movements that would result.
I find it inconceivable that the planning system was able to overlook this crucial aspect.

The field is marked as an Other Open Land of Townscape Importance. Replacing the field with a floodlight plastic area is mad.
Almost doubling the population of Mortlake with zero consideration or improvement to roads and public transport is completely bonkers.
