The number of housing units in our densely occupied area would overwhelm the services available, Road and rail would be permanently gridlocked. There is no response to the key need for affordable housing to rent , and the scale of the building is out of all proportion to the rest of housing in the area. This may be a nice earner for the developers but would be a nightmare for the local community.

Even before Hammersmith Bridge closed the brewery area had terrible traffic congestion. This plan is very poor!

The area is already a huge bottleneck thanks to the local level crossings. More traffic and more residents and businesses would create complete chaos in the area. There must be better, more imaginative ways to provide affordable housing than these eyesores that are appearing all along the river - which are, I'm sure, not what would be classed by many as "affordable".

Mortlake is like a nice village - this is completely inappropriate for this area as it already suffers chaotic congestion due to the closure of Hammersmith Bridge - this will make it a nightmare !

Local transport infrastructure totally inadequate for the scale of proposed additional population. Not enough low cost housing in the plan. No demand for proposed community facilities.

Traffic is already chaos in this area. Such a significant development will make an already congested area completely usable. Only adds to the issue of Hammersmith Bridge.

Ridiculous to propose this quantity of housing units in this congested area - the already poor air quality will become lethal.

1. We should build more places where people can work, enabling them to do so without travelling long distances, to create a "15-minute city". Here, apart from Mortlake station, more commuters will make bad worse.
2. Aesthetically, there is a tendency to create clumps of tall buildings every kilometre or so. Most are of little architectural interest, or worse. The effect will soon be to spoil the whole city, in particular the banks of the Thames.
3. This borough would benefit from a reversal of it's loss of council housing.

The density of this development is out of all proportion to the availability of local amenities and road capacity.

The local infrastructure will not be able to cope with the added burden and the already congested roads will become unmanageable especially with Hammersmith Bridge being closed.

This development is far too large for an already over congested area and is at odds with the surroundings.

this development is inappropriate, the area locked in by the river and the park is already congested, traffic density is too high and this proposal will only add to the congestion and pollution.
