All Things Detroit is more than a semi-annual event spotlighting small business owners in Detroit’s Historic Eastern Market. It’s a community drawn together by Founder Jennyfer Crawford, owner of Ask Jennyfer. It’s a mindset that supports entrepreneurial efforts and takes the concept of shopping local seriously. All Things Detroit is a staple in the community. It has driven commerce and support to businesses who may not have received a platform otherwise. This day NEEDS to happen!
Jennyfer is a powerful force for small businesses in Detroit! It is an honor to know her and see the work she has done to profoundly change the landscape for entrepreneurs getting their start.
Jennyfer has built a community from the ground up here in Detroit. All Things Detroit embodies the spirit of small business owners who work together to grow and succeed. With an official day, she'd do even more to promote the businesses, artists, makers and professionals who make the city the one-of-a-kind place it is!
All Things Detroit is about building the city of Detroit as whole. Supporting not only small businesses but the community as well. Building the city from the ground up, setting foundations by implanting seeds and watching them to grow.
Supporting small business is the key to a vibrant city that residents and visitors come to enjoy. In Detroit these businesses are not all located in one place - not even in one neighborhood. And it feels like it takes some research to locate them . So having an official day to recognize small local business, on a platform where the awareness can be really focused, would be a great idea.
