It sure is nice to see the kids taking some action. How about a stoplight? Make it happen before somebody gets killed!

i think we need some type of stop sign or a cop or some thing out there because it is bad and i live right down the rode and me and my sister drive here and it takes us like 5 minutes but on the way home it takes us about 30 minutes because we cant get out of the parking lot and my thing is they have a person for the buses to get out y cant we have a person or two to do that because then it would be so much faster

I go to east and really agree that there should be a change, I too have been almost hit before.

I used to walk across this street every day from Belleville East and this issue needs to be solved once and for all!

I was a prior student of BTHS East. I also had to walk across West Blvd. to and from school. Very dangerous road at anytime of the day.

I emailed Principal Posey in May of this year about this situation and her response was that she would forward my email to Asst Supt. (Mr. Mentzer). Nothing was done and when I sent a follow up email, it was ignored. Something definitely needs to be done before a student is killed.

We need to educate drivers but the ban on texting/ talking on phone may not be enough. If we're not enforcing the law, it's sort of obvious why the student got hit. Things need changed.

I'm a senior at Belleville East High school. I've been walking down that street since freshman year. I've went to the principal on this issue and nothing has been done. It's a shame that one of my fellow classmates has been hit. This issue needs to be resolved before someone is killed.

It's horrible that people can get hit by a car just trying to get home! It shouldn't happen anymore. The city should add crosswalks or something.

Saftey is important for both ends pedestrians and drivers let's get that goal and save lives
