I have spent hours reading through your comments and it is clear that I am not the only one who misses the actual experts we rely on for safety. I am currently reaching out to their customer service executives to demand a real explanation for this downgrade.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that I am not the only one who misses having actual experts guiding us through major storms. This level of support confirms that we deserve better than the current lineup.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE WEATHER CHANNEL, I used to depend on it because the local on the 8's talked, as a blind person, that is critical! I INSIST, BRING BACK THE WEATHER CHANNEL, YOU WON'T BE SORRY!
We need real time weather not a looped feed that goes over and over with the same information. Bring back the Weather Channel or I'll switch back to Time Warner Cable. Having The Weather Channel can mean the difference between life and death during a severe weather outbreak.
I used to watch The Weather Channel back in the 80's and still use the internet resource today, but not everyone is able to be online all of the time, and The Weather Channel is should be a "must-carry" news channel, and should be added back to FiOS TV again because of the severe weather and hurricanes we are going to be dealing with in the East Coast of Virginia.
Bring back The Weather Channel. Accuweather is a pathetic alternative that does not offer local, relevant information, has poor personalities, rarely (if ever) broadcasts in sync with current, breaking events (such as local severe weather threats) and is absolutely worthless!
My husbands job depends on the weather channel. Not knowing the situation verizon had dropping them I'm going to have to break my contract and go back to comcast. It's really depressing thanks verizon just when I thought it couldn't get worse than comcast
Seriously bring it back. It has great shows.
Losing the Weather Channel kept me away from Verizon for years.

My dad works for Verizon so we can't switch. I've always loved the fact that it shows the local forecast at a timely manner, and AccuWeather doesn't do that.
