This should be implemented as soon as possible - double yellow lines and signs asap!

Too many parked cars outside the school gates are an accident waiting to happen, please don't let a child be hurt before anything changes

Let us not wait for an accident before changing the street signage.

Zigzag lines are outside a school are there for a reason, enforce the no parking before something serious happens

The visibility from the gate to outside the road is not enough due to some cars blocking the both side of entrance. Many children cross the road to go home or come to school, but visibility of cars approaching is not clear due to some cars parking near the gate. These cars seems regularly use the space from early morning to the evening, including the time for children coming to school and going home.

It is ludicrous that the zigzag lines cannot be enforced. Please correct this dangerous oversight

As things stand it's very dangerous and poorly marked. It would be best if a crossing/ school zone was created across the front of the school. A colour coded, raised/ delineated area that automatically makes drivers question their actions.

This should be a straightforward matter, I can't imagine why it's not. Being a parking permit holder myself, I can empathise with issues of finding spots in Oxford, but this pales in comparison to road safety in the immediate vicinity of a primary school. Kids are at times unpredictable and this needs space and visibility in order to avoid accidents or worse.

Please stop people from parking in front of the school gates as this is a safety hazard, not only for the children going to school every morning, but also in case of a fire, as cars parked by the entrance to the gate would block access for the firemen.

We cant have such a situation where cars are "abandoned" around 75% of the school perimeter of young children. I wouldn't be surprised if criminals became attracted to child abduction right there with such many vehicles innocently parked. Lets face, who would easily identify the get way car!!!?

I am sure having specific parking restrictions for the start and end of the school day could not possibly be argued by any resident, irrespective of if they pay for permits or not ... we are talking about child safety here, it should be paramount.

Fully support this as it also is a hazard for staff trying to get cars in and out if the car park during the school day.

cars are frequently parked right up to the school gates, which makes it impossible for people, especially the very young ones who come to St. Barnabas, to see when they are crossing the road. There should be the power to get these offenders towed away.

As a Jericho resident (Cranham St) I support our local primary school and any issues parents are having. Jericho must be a safe place for everyone.
