Make the street outside St Barnabas school safer for the children

it is very dangerous and people flout the rules daily. And put children at risk as you naturally walk on the zig zags assuming it is safe. Additionally there is no parking for drop offs so the long stretch of paid parking that's is empty on great Clarendon street should be made available to parents for drop offs. Paying every day is unreasonable as is being fined for taking your kids to school. I cycle with children most days but I have to drive some times (school projects in boot etc) Why don't the council give patent parking permits that are valid in drop off times in school zones?

Please change this before there is an accident.

It is almost ridiculous not to enforce "no parking" in front of schools. Especially in the morning a rigorous enforcement would be more than welcome.

This is common sense.

This is unfair and dangerous for our children. We have already had some near misses and the people parking there can become aggressive when challenged. It's a shame when you see parking tickets on cars parked next to these same cars.

Please put an end to this dangerous parking, it really puts our little ones at risk! I've witnessed so many dangerous situations these past few months.

This is an important petition. Recently a fire engine was unable to gain access to the school because cars were parked in the way.
