Please, if there is something to help us lead normal lives, could you allow it in the United States? Thank you

I live in the U.S., and Ampligen has really helped me. Please give everyone with ME an opportunity to improve.

I have had this horrific illness for 23 years. I went from owning my own business to mostly bedbound. We have no access to ampligen in the US either... just things to semi manage our symptoms. It's horrible and it's not way to live. Now my son also has this illness. We need HELP around the world.

End this massive medical injustice everyone. Research into a diagnostic test and proper treatments is gathering pace, thanks largely to patients themselves and a handful of marvellous researchers, doctors and consultants who would not give up on us in the teeth of stigmatisation and vested interests.

What kind of health system would deny a patient a drug, which is deemed safe and has a chance of helping the patient, when the patient has been ill for 39 years without any treatment? The complacency of the medical profession in this regard is stupefying: 'We can't offer you any treatment, but we sure aren't go to offer something which might but is not guaranteed to help.' Only a person who does NOT have ME could take such a position.

So much more needs to be done for people who have this dreadful illness. Treating symptoms alone is simply not enough.

My son has had growing ME severity for almost 20 years and we are desperate for breakthoughs but anything which will moderate or alleviate this debilitating illness would help.

My sons and I developed ME in 1987. Two of us are well now, one isn't. I wish this illness was understood and that treatment could be offered. It wrecks lives.
