We pay high taxes in the city, and should feel safe in our homes and neighborhoods. Please hire more police officers to respond to calls and to help put a stop to criminals that make us feel unsafe.

The city leaders have neglected our safety long enough. We need to add 500-1000 more officers.

We would like Seattle to be a safe, non-menacing place. While attention may be focused on downtown, crime and criminals have moved into Ballard, Magnolia, Wallingford and other family neighborhoods. Whatever social programs, vigilance and intervention need to be done, it needs to be sooner than later.

Please help. We need to have a safe neighborhood and have had to hire private security. Not okay. We pay taxes too.

The lack of enforcement in Magnolia is truly shocking. How can this be allowed to continue? There is a woman living in her red truck pulling a 5th wheel that has a federal felony for mail theft. Mail theft has become a common thing in our neighborhood. Guess who is doing it? She is here victimizing us because you, Mayor Murray, are allowing it. Perhaps we should have her move to your house in Montlake? Maybe your neighbors can get you to change your failed policies!

Mayor Murray, your efforts to end homelessness has been a total failure. There is more homelessness here now than ever before. Where is the accountability for the $50,000,000 you are spending? Where are the statistics showing the number of people who have transitioned out of homelessness? All you have done is ruined great neighborhoods with heroin, meth, mail and package theft and home invasion robberies. It has to stop NOW. We pay the taxes that pay your salary, and it is time for you to take a hard look at your strategy. It is a failure. Stop "scratching your head" and enforce the laws. All of the laws. Equally. Time to stop the disparate treatment. Stop enabling and hold these people accountable for their behavior.

The mayor and city council have instructed SPD to not do enforcement for those living in RVs. We now have RVs dealing heroin (on tape), manufacturing meth, and operating a chop shop for bikes. This lack of enforcement is making our neighborhood unsafe. Please let SPD do their job!!!

I've lived on Queen Anne since 1977, and only in recent years have I begun to wonder what is happening to our special neighborhood. In fact, I ask the same question about the greater city of Seattle as well. We need to take back our very live able city!!

North Queen Anne Hill is lucky to have one cop on weekend nights is ridiculous. Same for the entire community of Magnolia.

Help! I'm so overprivileged that I have no concept of what the real world is like. Homeless people are ruining our lives! Put them in South Seattle where they belong! Not around nice, gentle, white people. I mean, we should help them of course. And I am compassionate. But can't they go somewhere else?

I also hate that details of important meetings are NOT being sent out in hard copy anymore, but one has to KNOW that agendas are posted online to even know if one wants to attend. That's how I got screwed over with the damn stop signs in front of my house so I can't park in front of my house anymore.

I've lived in Seattle my whole life and for the first time feel like the city's lost it's integrity with the citizens who bear the burden of this criminal activity with no accountability for the perpetrators. Please commit to keeping Seattle safe from these crimes.

It is about time that our representatives give the appropriate attention to all of the residents of our neighborhoods. Whether we are homeowners or renters, we all contribute taxes toward the maintenance and protection of our homes... as well as our schools, public parks and buildings. We expect, and deserve, attention to our concerns.
