Thank you! Please send your well written comment to the present "Mayor" who is only making our area worse, hopefully he will respond unless planning another crime ridden homeless camp near our high taxed homes. You have our full support!

It is apparent that during the last year criminal activities in the Magnolia, Queen Anne, Ballard areas have increased significantly, with no response from the City.
Try walking after dark to the store to truly get a sense of the danger.

PLEASE PROTECT OUR NEIGHBORHOOD! We live in NW Queen Anne and hardly ever see a police presence here. We have had our cars prowled, cars parked illegally, mattresses thrown on the side walk outside our door on W Armour St. and other activities that are illegal. It seems the city does not care for the high paying property owner at all. Only encourages move homeless caps everywhere and all other types of illicit activity. Next thing you know there will be a Syrian Refugee terrorist camp outside our doors!! Do something about this now!!!

Please do something about the escalating number of vans, buses, and RVs illegally parked in Ballard! Groups of people are living out of these vehicles, and much of the criminal activity can be traced back to their encampments!

Broadview is being hit hard with burglaries, package thefts and even locking mailboxes being drilled open recently. This is a fairly new phenomenon to this area. I realize that Spd is understaffed and trying to hire. What about hiring more interim safety patrols for these type of crimes???? We at least need some brainstorming from spd and the city to figure out what to do until we can get more police on staff.

I am in full support of this petition. In November, I had my work bag (including a new Microsoft Surface) stolen out of my car window while I was at the gym at Ballard Blocks. Unfortunately, I haven't been the only victim as of late.

My husband and I recently bought a house off 85th and 8th. We purchased in this area because we heard it was a family friendly SAFE area, but that has not been the case these past 6 months. Break in's both house and cars, tons of mail left, disorderly and violent property damaging conduct from ppl leaving bars and beer gardens, have been the norm since we moved in. Seriously considering selling and moving again.

Recently moved to Ballard from out of state, and cannot believe the contrast. Often do not feel safe!

Our cars has been prowled over half a dozen times. It is hard to feel our home is safe when we are asleep or away.

We just returned to Seattle after 8 years on the East Coast. We bought a nice house in the Greenwood area, and have been deeply dismayed to see the *daily* reports of burglaries and thefts in our new neighborhood.

I hope this covers adding more "No Parking 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM. I noticed that it has cleaned up an area on Northlake Way that was infested with activity all summer.
Also make it less desirable for homeless people to relocated here from other cities like are doing in large numbers.

I have lived in Seattle my whole life of 67 years. I always felt safe living on QA and Magnolia. I have been burgled twice recently and feel things are really changing fast. Please bring my city back.
