I was so glad when I saw this petition. To be honest, anytime I go to the shop to buy sanitary pad, the question I always ask myself is, "Why is something that is a necessity so expensive?" I am a student and there are some months the money I have is not enough at all. But I have to sacrifice some of it, just to buy sanitary pad and yet the price for pad keeps on increasing day by day

It's really uneasy for a girl child to afford sanitary pads in Ghana . So it's needful to abolish such killer taxes which bring challenges to our daughters today.

Enough girls are struggling to buy sanitary pads already, taxing pads will do more harm than good to the nation in general as girls stay out of school because they cannot afford the "luxurious" sanitary pads.
