Please allow UNB to use your beautiful field. Maybe if you have a BBQ while their games are on it could pay for the work that needs to be done for the field. Their games are always double hitters with a half hour in between. A BBQ and a cooler of water/Gatorade could do very well with the 2 teams plus fans, considering there isn’t anything close enough to drive, order, eat before the second game, also a 50/50. I wouldn’t mind helping with a bbq. UNB won their Atlantic’s last fall, I am sure some of the local grocery stores ( maybe even other venues) would surely donate to the team. I am from a small area and we have a lob ball tournament each year in memory of our son Thomas, our community is so generous, I am sure yours would be too. Donated food, volunteers to bbq and do 50/50, it would be a win win for the field, and word of mouth goes a long way too. Positive feed back on social media would also be a bonus foe the city.
Please reconsider even if the boys have to pitch in to help prepare the field

It is absolutely crazy that a top University Team is in such a position. Understanding that Royals Senior team takes first priority for field time but not allowing the field to bs used by UNB Baseball does not sit well and discredits this very solid team of young players, many of whom are local players.

Why is this even an issue? The field is still being used by the senior team and maintained for their use, correct? There's not a lot of extra effort required to line it again. Do what's right.

As a current Senior Royals player and former UNB player I beleive the UNB baseball team should be allowed to use Royals field if no other teams are playing on it! Why have an A1 facility and not allow teams to utilize it is beyond me…

This field has been used by UNB for some time. The field is still being actively prepared for the Senior Mens Royals team who is in playoff finals. The schedules do no conflict thus there should be no reason to not take care of this.
