I feel that FTF or Dl anything is fine but the thing is that anyways we are not gonna have boards in MCQs pattern and its already a long time that we lost our practice in writing and now we got a opportunity to get to know our real capacity of how much we can score in the exam by writing the subjective paper, but my only concern is that like for most of the subjects there are lots of portions yet to be completed. If the teachers just focus on completing the portion and just rush up we won't even get time to revise the previous as well as the new chapters. Its like just now half yearly got over and now with in 3 weeks preboard. This is not fair. We are human beings and not roborts to just memorise all in just a span of 3 weeks and also concentrate on completing the portions side by side. We don't have any super natural power to do both at the same time plus one day gap between each subject for the exam is not at all enough. This will only lead to depression and stress among the students. I hope the school takes this matter into concern and postponed the preboard and give more time to complete the portions and give atleast two days gap between each subject for the exam.

For students who are going to India for higher studies, this shouldn't be a problem. These scores won't affect which college you get into.
For students going to other countries, however, need predicted scores. Teachers have refused to give predicted scores based off of our half yearly marks and only off our preboard marks. This isn't just practice for us, it determines our entire college education. I do not ask for it to be DL, all I ask is that the timetable be re-evaluated to give a bit more breathing room for students between exams.

what I feel is that ftf is mandatory. Most of us lack the skills of writing an actual subject paper because of
the mcq tests conducted online for the past 6 months.
i feel the future of a student is equally important as health matters. Even if the school conducts subjective paper online, I bet 90% of the students will copy, which is a big loss for them also. The school is a better platform where we write exam under teacher supervision and we understand where we are standing in the race.
if we keep procrastinating the exam continuously, it may happen that we never write the exam also as covid cases are not decreasing, but increasing and we have to wait for a long time for covid cases to decrease.
plss understand that this exam doesnt matter for board exam anyways.......it is only a practise exam to know where we are making mistakes and how to improve on them.
Dont worry abt marks we get in this exam.....school will conduct lots of exams and then finally we will be ready to face the boards confidently.
so stay cool

Pal Mein Pralaya Hoyegi, Bahuri Karoge Kab?"
Meaning: If we keep on shying away from our problems and extending our deadlines till 'Tomorrow', We might never get the opportunity to ever do it.
I think that it is high time that we come out of our shells and learn to face our fears bravely. Pre-boards are merely meant for our practice and nothing else. So what if we do not get a full score. Does it really matter ? I think not. And, as the situation goes with the increasing SARS-COV-2 cases, it doesn't seem to be decelerating anyways, so if we keep on waiting for the cases to decrease, we might never even get to write our exams.
We started our school in January, 2020. I think that we have had more than enough time to prepare for our exams. Also, there is no official notice of the Board Exams being delayed anyways. If all goes according to plan, our finals are starting in February. So, if we really think about it, we do not have much time at all. If we keep on shying away from facing the exams, I fear it might already be too late.
It would be best for all of us, if we just introspect further.

See, What I'd like to say is that,
1. Give us time for preparation(atleast a month). Preboards are important, If boards are being postponed then why can we postpone preboards, we have time dont we.
2. Add few days gap between the exams of each subject, this is because
a) The virus stays on the surface and however hard u try to sanitize it will not be efficient to avoid the spread, giving time between each exam will kill the virus present on the surfaces such as tables, chairs, etc.
b) We need time to study each subject, if boards understand that and keep gaps between our exams, why dont you do the same too.
3. Do not keep it DL, even if you do, keep it as a subjective paper, we lack the practice of writing an actual subjective paper and are very used to MCQ now. We need to change to subjective so that we get the actual feel of a board exam.

Is there any reason as to why we need to postpone? First off, we are in the middle of a pandemic in which conditions aren't looking out to improve in the least. Secondly, most classes haven't even completed the entirety of their portions in all subjects yet. It's easier to say that the portions can be done within the first week of November or so, but such promises have only been thrown around without any proper execution.
As a student, I want Bright Riders to succeed, I want to be proud of being its inhabitant. But everytime I possess the optimism that our school is capable of doing something good, I'm proved wrong instantly. These exams determine our future and aren't just there for 'practice'. There are students who have put in days and hours of work, only for them to not yield the results they expect and for what? the same cycle to repeat again?
We hear stories of students who take their own lives for their lives are dependant on a number. It's the sad truth, on top of that you have schools holding no gaps between exams as they see it to be no big deal. Please, let's make this better for all of us, postponement by a matter of a week or two. Given, CBSE's plan to postpone boards, we'll have ample time to write the pre-boards and get the much needed practice. Exams like these with no intention of providing breathing room take a huge toll on the student's mental health. All of us can make a big impact no matter how small the change is. Bright Riders, please don't fail us this time....we believe in you.
