Roosevelt has cancelled our powderpuff game claiming "we did not follow protocol" which is completely untrue. All girls (juniors AND seniors) have worked EXTREMELY hard and have put in so much time to make this game happen. Our coaches have also worked hard to teach us everything they know in order to have us ready and prepared for game day. This is an event that many people were looking forward to and was cancelled last minute leaving everyone upset and angry. Let's put social media to good use and pass around this petition to make powderpuff happen

I spent the afternoon printing out these signatures because the administration needs to see exactly how many students are feeling ignored. We are not letting this slide just because they refuse to acknowledge our hard work on the field.

Seeing this level of support reminds me why I fought for our game in the first place. The administration cannot ignore how much our hard work and team spirit mean to this school.

This game has always been a tradition and it is unfair to take that away from the students who have watched this game, when finally they can participate it gets cancelled!

It is not okay to cancel an event just days before it is about to happen. People work very hard to get ready for this game and it is also something these girls look foward to since they are freshmans. Canceling it is extremely unfair.

I honestly haven't been going to practice for 2 months, working hard , coming home with a sore body and getting hurt at practice to have the game just cancelled !

Powderpuff was one of my favorite memories in high school and gave me the opportunity to meet new people and become close with them. Taking that away without any explanations is completely unfair.

They shouldn't cancel powderpuff especially when it involves seniors this is their last game at Roosevelt they should be able to leave this school saying they "loved it" not " this school never let us have any after school activities "

I graduated in 2013 and one of the greatest memories I have from Roosevelt is playing with my fellow classmates against the other class. The powderpuff game is a tradition that should be upheld. Taking that away would be an awful mistake.
