Make Pennsylvania Avenue Safer: Reduce the School-Zone Speed to 15 MPH

I believe that this school zone speed should be lowered from 30 mph to 15 mph. I have always wondered why this school zone was not 15mph already, like all other school zones. Even Herbert Hoover has a 15mph zone and the school is no where near the road.

My son is a second grader at Elk Center and we watched this accident take place.

Can't believe this all has not already been done.

Definitely needs to be changed. Make things safer for these kids. People don't need to be driving so fast through there

Please protect our children, our future! Also protect those driving in the area. If someone needs to go faster, take an alternative route. Regardless of your route, please slow down and be aware. No one needs to be injured or killed by someone trying to make up a couple extra minutes.

It's so hard to get out of the parking lot on this road during drop off time. 30 is entirely too fast. Clendenin school is no where near the main road, but the limit through there is 15 to help with the flow of traffic. The daycare and school in this area is literally right on the road, I was super surprised it was set at 30 to begin with.

Lower this speed limit. It's common sense for it to be lower for the safety of the children. One if them being my niece. Thank you and God bless!!!!

People drive recklessly in this area and it needs to be safer for not only for people, but children in the zone.

These changes are long overdue, and the speed reduction needs to be enforced!
