Make Malaysian airsoft a legal and supervised recreational activity

Why could't airsoft be legel

to me as a gun nut it makes me sad that i can't play with them when i found out my order for an airsoft gun was canceled and that is when i found out it was banned in malaysia. it also makes disappointed that before the ban and that is when i was 13, i was able to buy the cheap plastic springers for RM10 and now because there has been crimes related to these "fake gun/imitation firearms" we get a full ban in our country because the police think it can decrease the crime where ppl use guns. that is like saying knives should because there have been crime relates to them, this is a bad choice n only benefits criminals because alongside the fact that malaysians r not allowed to own a gun n now we hav a ban now on a hobby sport, we can look at japan for an example n taiwan on this, ppl know that most ppl r normal ppl n won't rob a store when they see a gun or anything else dat can cause crime, n they also a tight rule when it comes to real guns. my idea is that having a license that is made just for airsoft guns, this way ppl who want to play airsoft do need make themselves qualified and having a license so that we know we have proven that we can be trusted with an "imitation gun" and like a car license police will be able to check who has a license n who doesn't. n on another not with ppl who cosplay this ban also makes it difficult for them because they are forced to give up on a certain cosplay because a part of the costume needs a gun. so yeah i think if the police really needs to regulate airsoft or any other hobby sport at least try not to pick the worst possible option out of so many options

This is a good way for fellow Malaysians, mainly teenagers and adults, to participate in a healthy yet intense sports. We have more than enough room and population to let this SPORT grow. It would be very much appreciated if a team from our nation wins an international tournament in this SPORT.

Airsoft is a sport,not a crime,that is agreeable in many countries

Legalise airsoft in Malaysia.. It was a good sport and train citizen to be prepared for war... They will learned gun control.. But government, please do issue a airsoft licence for those are playing it. The airsoft gun was similar like the real gun.. So please create a licence for it

Airsoft gun is a good sport and it is call ipsc. CQB. Is it better then play computer game....

airsoft is definitely not a crime, it's a good outdoor activity to have with a group of friends, and a hella good exercise aswell.

It's not a crime to have fun, it relaxes and train's pleople, be smart
