Make lane splitting in UTAH

I almost was hit because I was behind a car. If I was lane splitting between two cars for protection I wouldn't have to keep looking in my minor because may reared me.

I strongly agree with this petition. Allowing lane splitting will decrease traffic, and congestion as well as keep the riders out of harms way with being rear ended

Lane splitting would be nice, but at least allow lane filtering at stop lights.

Texting while driving is rampant, which means distracted drivers are too. It keeps me safe, and keeps traffic moving faster for everyone.

I don't understand why this isn't legal already.

I have ridden Utah Highways and have had so good friends die or become injured while riding the Free Ways. This would help save lives

I believe this is very beneficial to riders and traffic. As a rider there is nothing worse then getting stuck in traffic in 90 degree heat with full gear and risk over heating the bike and being a heat casulity from dehydration. As well as the saftey off people that don't pay attention and rear end bikes...

This could be a great benefit to those who travel for wrk. Too many time ive seen bikers rear ended in traffic because unattentive drivers are too distracted by their phones or other "extremely important" tasks that are occuring while they're driving to work.

I've wanted this to be legal for a long time, I definitely support this

I support adding a little safety to Utah motorcyclists by allowing them to split the lane at stop lights to prevent being rearended.

PLEASE make lane splitting legal.not to mention reducing rear end accidents, my motorcycle gets dangerously hot when not moving and stuck in traffic. I have already warped one motorcycle head cause I couldn't keep moving and overheated. The batteries are small enough you can't keep stopping and starting. PLEASE make this legal

Although lane splitting is riskier in certain circumstances, it gets pretty warm sitting over an engine in the summer during stop and go traffic. Cagers also need to be informed on how to deal with motorcyclists who will be filtering.
