Lane splitting WITHOUT helmets. I ride without a helmet, and was in LA last fall. LOVED lane splitting. When done correctly, it's not nearly as dangerous as I thought. And it helps with congestion

There are definitely a lot more pros that should be added to help attract signers.

Split lanes for bikes would be a great idea to keep rider's safe from Car's and to prevent car's from hitting the bikers.

Lane splitting and filtering are both something that Utah could greatly benefit from.

Should be legal for safety at stop lights! If someone isent paying attention coming to a stop light and rear end a car they will most likely be fine but if they rear end a motorcycle we are toast

I'm from California. It's legal there. It makes such a difference. I would love for it to be legal in Utah.

Been riding for quite awhile. During high traffic times I believe it will be much safer to allow splitting.

As a rider, I would feel safer being able to move along in traffic and not have to worry about getting hit when traffic slows down. It would make all traffic go a little faster as well as the bikers would be able to get through and let the cars take their places.

This would be an improvement over the system we have in place now. I say this as someone who has been hit while on their bike and can attest to the importance of less traffic and the ability to safely and legally remove oneself from the proximity of other drivers.
