"Rule of law" does not dictate employment. The idea that cops are exempt from firing until they get "due process" is yet another way they are held to a lower standard than the rest of us, and foments police abuses.
And yes, an investigation can be completed in 24 hours when there is clear video of misconduct. Non cops are investigated much quicker all the time. The double standards police hold for themselves are so absurd, and when this kind of attitude is codified in law, contract, or policy, it's a violation of the equal protections clause.

HA HA HA! Keenan is lucky he only got community service, because had he gone to jail, he wouldn't have faired out too well. Only a trigger happy cop would shoot a small dog, on someone else's property. He has obvious mental issues and it shows by the pathetic 35 signatures, that the community doesn't want this poor excuse of an officer anywhere near them, or their family pets.

you kidding me? This officer shot an innocent dog. He was barking at the officer but if the officer had just spoken to the dog and knelt down with a friendly stance, the dog would have probably given him a sloppy wet kiss. But no, the officer was pissed because the man wouldn't come out of his house to talk to him so he shot the dog in an attempt to get him out of the house. He just wanted the dog to stop barking. I watched the video, he casually pulled his gun and shot as he walked past the dog. NOT acceptable, certainly not from an officer who is supposed to de-escalate the situation. I believe that's what he was fired for. He never needs to be an officer again. He doesn't know how to handle himself or a gun.

I have grave concerns for whom ever wrote this petition. So much wrong information. There are MULITPLE infractions on top of extremely poor decisions observed in the video. He has yet to understand the full impact of his actions. The investigation will expose the truths.
I believe “the people of Faulkner County” have expressed their feelings, along with others from around the country. Last I looked 999 people had spoken with their pocketbooks. Please don’t speak for “all American counties”.

Wallace should lose his law enforcement certification! He is racist and is on a power trip with his undeserved badge. He threatened to shoot my dog in my yard behind my gate a few months ago.He harassed my family to the point where i had complained to his superiors. He is a disgrace to law enforcement anywhere! i would love to see him behind bars where animal abusers belong.
