It's sad when some people ruin something for the people that need it.

It is shameful for a person to misrepresent her dog so the human may gain benefit. The true service dogs deserve better.

I personally know two people who got their dogs registered as service dogs who are not. Disgusting!

Too often people abuse rights that should be exclusively granted to disabled persons, including service animals and handicapped parking stickers.

The value of a service animal on so many levels cannot be underestimated. Misrepresentation of such an animal should be an infraction.

Having a certified NEADS-trained hearing dog, I support this law to stop the imposter service dogs. I saw several dogs with improper trainings in the public places. This bothers me. This law must be passed just like the other states. Thanks

How cruel to mis represent to those truly in need

As a volunteer trainer for the service dogs, I have come to realize how very important this bill is. The misrepresentation does the people truly in need of the service dogs a disservice. Service dogs 'earn' those jackets thru rigorous screening. Owners and management of public spaces are put in a very bad position having to assess which dogs are truly certified service animals. I actually think it should go one step further where there are state issued credentials for service dogs and handlers, but this is a great start. Thank you!

Thank you, I am sick of people bringing their dogs on planes and claiming they are service dogs. When asked where their dog was trained they always claim they trained their own dog.

I am advocating for this bill
because I know there are those who claim his/her dog is a therapy or service dog and the dog has not had the formal training. Thank you for support..

I work in a hospital where the frequency of patients who bring in their "emotional support" animals is alarming. We have no indication of the animal's suitability--including cleanliness--to be in an acute care setting. please support this initiative!

As a volunteer at NEADS on the Board of Advisors and Service Dogs for Veterans committees, I have seen the amazing work our service dogs do. The passage of this bill is critical!

My spouse has a NEADS service dog. With them I have witnessed several fake service dogs.
