I feel that is very important that "TRUE" service dogs be recognized. The selling of look a like vest should be stopped so that only fully trained service dogs wear them. Given by the organizations that trained and certified them.

I am formally from Boston, now living in Colorado, but I seriously support this petition. Every day, as a disabled person myself, who unfortunately can't afford to get the mobility service animal I need, I see people with fake service dogs everywhere, especially in airports. My dog is a pet, (she's not trained and is too small to be a mobility animal) and I always pay the fee for her to travel with me. Dishonesty among the ADA guidelines makes the people who really need service animals look as bad as the liars who just want to bring their dog everywhere. If you want to do that, that's fine, but bring them to outdoor malls or to dog-friendly places. Don't stick a vest that says "service dog" on it and be a scammer. Please.

Thanks for keeping out fakes. But I hope this bill does not limit people’s with disality from finding service animals. I believe part of the problem is not having services for anyone on disability.

I am so glad that this petition is being put forth. Nothing makes me madder than a person pretending to have a service do so that they can bring it anywhere they want. I love dogs but I do not like the misrepresentation of them as service animals.
