Slow down the lift, keep the attendants off pot, MUST update all lifts so they have restraining devices

My son is in trek and had an issue getting off the lift. It needs to be reasonably safe even if that means slowing it down too.

These policies will need to be implemented and tested before I will bring my children to ski school at Eldora.

Last weekend was my first time taking our children on that lift and I IMMEDIATELY noticed and commented that I was shocked that they were pairing 5 year old children together without an instructor in the ski class.

My 5-year old is currently enrolled in Eldorables on Thursday afternoons

My now 7yo was in eldorables two years ago, and we pulled her due to our instructor’s refusal to ensure that she ride with an adult on Sundance. We were told that that was just the way it was, despite expressing concerns to multiple people at Eldora. I’m planning to send the email correspondence to the current authorities and administrators there.

We had a similar issue and story from the ski school (documented in emails) and decided the ski area did not take ski safety seriously and moved our child to a magic carpet only group. Its unfortunate that the ski area knew about these concerns and did not act.

I have a 4 year old that I ski with regularly at Eldora.
