Make Eldora Safe for Kids

I consider it essential for all lifts to have safety bars and for the policies to be stricter and better adhered to.

Even if there are bars, kids 4-6 it's nearly impossible for kids to be able to reach up and pull them down. There needs to be an adult on each lift to pull the bar down and safely ensure that kids are seated properly.

It is unbelievable to me that Eldora ski resort has ANY lifts without a safety bar. This is unacceptable for children or adults and should be changed immediately.

Bars on all lifts should be mandatory. I also cant quite figure out how / why the lift operator(s) did not hear the calls for help sooner and stop the lift immediately..?

This is unacceptable! Child safety should be a first priority, period!

Take ski school seriously and take care of children. I would like to see bars on all lifts. What you did was appalling!

We will be warning all we know to stay away from your ski school until you change your policies and put children's safety first.

Please install a handlebar for all lifts. I ski with my two young daughters and am always terrified of taking them on the lift with no handlebars. Thank you.

My kids did last session Eldorables as 4 and 5 year olds. This was my biggest worry. When I worked as an instructor 15 years ago at Copper, all kids under 6 had to ride with an adult. 15 years ago. Let that sink in Eldora. The instructor I talked to poo pooed my concerns about lift safety and said she had never had an issue. Shame on Eldora for not addressing this. My kids won’t participate until their policy changes.

If you would like our family with two small kiddos to continue the Eldorables and Trex programs, I urge you to consider safety bars

Of course children under 6 shouldn't be on the chairlift alone without a bar!

I will not sign up my children at Eldora unless these lolicies are implemented.

I will definitely not take my kids skiing at Eldora until the lifts are safe.

Make skiing safe for our kids.

This is almost unbelievable. We would NEVER allow you to teach our son if this doesn’t change.

Do the right thing and make sure an adult is with our youngest skiers. As a parent, I’d happily volunteer to be a rider then ski down on my own. Thank you!
