Eldora has gotten away with this lackadaisical approach to child safety for too long. This is why my daughter has never done lessons at Eldora. And why I have dissuaded many other parents from putting their children in lessons there.

I have a 4 year old snowboarder and Eldora is our home mountain. Please update policies to make the lifts (particularly those on the greens) more kid safe and make sure lift operates are probably trained on assisting kids.

We are going to change season passes because we do not feel it’s safe for out little kids on these ancient lifts.

Eldora is our go to mountain for our family (5 and 3yo). Without safety bars, proper staff training, and new policy, we won’t be attending any more lessons here.

Absolutely! Having watched my child get on the lift without an adult and without adult supervision when she was 5 and in the eldorable program I completely agree with this. We have not put our children back in this projgram because of the lack of adult supervision on the lifts.

My kids learned to ski at Eldora and I spent years worrying about them falling off one of those chairs. They are not appropriate for kids that young. Please make these changes and keep eldora safe for littles!

If Eldora wants to uphold their "family-friendly mountain" title that they have given themselves, this is a no-brainer. All lifts should have safety bars. Immediately.

I feel that Eldoras current practices on lifts for children’s lessons are not safe enough and have felt it was a matter of time before something like this happened.

This has happened before with adults just not reported because it was an employee. Safety first

I read this article after finding out my 5 year old rode the lift Saturday with two other kids and no adult during lessons! I was shocked and then read the article on Monday and quickly called eldora! These kids are too young.

Safety bars should be mandatory.
