DHS forces our AZ schools to use chemical agents and germicides when sanitizing. There is no room for natural, alternative, or chemical-free cleaning in the handbook. Parents should have the right to send their child to a daycare or school that does not create a chemically toxic environment. Let the schools use discretion on what really needs harsh chemicals such as chlorine bleach. DHS should add the option to use chemical-free products when cleaning to their handbook.

My son has terrible asthma and these strong smells whenever he gets picked up from daycare are killin him. Schools need to be able to use safer stuff. its just common sense.
