It’s a very dangerous intersection

In normal weather conditions the intersection scares me....add rain, darkness or snow and it’s a disaster waiting to happen. We, my husband and Just turned onto stefaniga from mountainview this past Saturday and heard a loud bang ...looked behind us and three cars, the three that were behind us, had collided...we could have been in that...thankfully everyone was ok. We moved here almost 3 years ago...the traffic in the spot has gotten much worse with the influx of new houses surrounding that area, the accidents have been happening more frequently. Something does need to be done. I also think the huge curve down the road from the intersection on stefaniga I also an accident and terribly tragedy waiting to happen...people driving into your lane and you hugging the embankment is very scary. Something needs to be done.

Our daughter also had a close call at this intersection. I hold my breath each time when I take a left from Stefaniga Road onto Mountain View Road. And sometimes I have to gun it when I see a car coming fast from my rear view mirror. Those who travel on Mountain View know this is a dangerous intersection and come flying down the road!!! Why don't the HOA's get involved to solve this problem? We know the government is very slow in solving problems.

Have seen many close calls there. Regulating that intersection should not have to be paid for in blood.

YES please. Also need a traffic light kellog mill and mountain view four way stop, people just don't know how a four way stop works and too many impatient people not wanting to wait their turn.

This intersection is horrible especially when the grass on sides of road are not kept cut. You have to be in the intersection before you can see if any cars are coming. Very dangerous situation. The county does not keep up the grass as needed and there will be many accidents around the outer county roads. Will it take a person in an accident to sue the county for negligence before something is done?

Drivers turning onto Mt View cannot see far because of rise in road to the right and tall grass to the right. Mt. View drivers need to be warned.

Stafford Supervisors, please work with the Commonwealth to make this happen. Fix the intersection of Mountain View and Stefaniga Roads.

We have 3 teen drivers and this intersection is extremely dangerous. Too many kidss driving to Mountain View high school in the mornings, it takes forever to make a left turn because it’s so hard to see the cars. It would be great if they fixed this intersection.

I have to make the left hand turn from Stefaniga onto Mountain View several times a week after 4pm. It scares me every time. I am very cautious and even so I have almost been rear ended by cars that are flying down Mt. View that you couldn't see while making the turn. Visibility is awful from both ways and the slope of road on Stefaniga makes it even more difficult. I truly hope something is done soon with this intersection.

A lot of teen drivers take this route to Moutainview high school along with the buses. Not safe at all especially when the grass is so high you have to keep inching forward to see what is coming. Please make this intersection safe.
