Buffy is one of my favourite shows and it could really benefit from an HD transfer. But not in the way its being done now... 16x9 is fine with me, but only if its uncropped, some goofs can even be painted out! Colour correction also seriously needs to be looked at for the new transfer. Buffy is a show that can look amazing in HD if done properly, but the way it's being done as of now is NOT proper.

This show really does deserve a visual makeover. It has a real great potential to be amazing in High Definition. It would be great to have it in widescreen as it can make the sets, such as the mansion in season 3, look much bigger. However if it were to be redone in 4:3 this would not bother me. Just cleaning up the colours and shadows would still make the show even better on blu ray.

Fox is screwing this up bad time, if you're not going to do the remaster correctly and with care then don't bother at all, because its pretty damn clear that Fox are just pissing the fans off
