I live in the Eau Gallie area & I am quite concerned as to the safety of having Brightline cutting all the way through, from Eau Gallie/Melbourne/Palm Bay, at such high speeds. Certainly more accidents/deaths will be happening. My question is who is really benefitting ($) from all this ?

Such a horrible idea to have trains at 100 miles per hour barreling through congested small cities and towns at grade level. What were they thinking.

This is crazy. How can Brightline be allowed to run these trains without fencing and safety guards.

This issue has concerned me from the time of the first announcement. This train is going through densely populated areas. Very close to intersections. More studies should be conducted.

We own a property at Palm Bay Estates for 27 years and this must be accountable for safety to surrounding areas as well as passengers please.

We also need a wall between Palm Bay Estates and the railroad tracks for the safety of people in the Estates

Safety measures need to be put into place. No walls are being built where the train is within feet of homes along 528

I own in a waterfront community & the track is right behind my house. I cannot believe these SPEEDS are safe in a residential area!!

Your position is correct - the FEC corridor is not designed for high speed travel and will present a serious hazard to our neighborhoods as long as it is allow to operate. Bobby Sanford
