Slow the trains and add fencing. 60 deaths were mostly preventable. Hold Grupo Mexico liable for train deaths.

Trains through Vero will bifurcate the town. Lesser trains & lower speeds

This is going directly through downtown Melbourne in Brevard, with lots of tourists wandering around. Unfortunately, several people will have to be killed before the governor will do anything about it.

High speeds through Vero will without question lead to a large increase in deaths

Rejected using tracks located farther west - profits over safety. Total disregard for the people's safety.

This is backwards from the way surface transportation should work and has worked for autos and trucks. The Interstate Highway System was started in the 1950s and is still usable by vehicles in 2022. Brightline had a 21st century train attempting to run on a 19th century rail system. What could possibly go wrong?

Slow it down

Brightline is a deadly scam that will fail at taxpayers’ expense and allow it to increase freight trains on their taxpayer funded extra track. Meanwhile, they run through at grade crossings that would never meant for high-speed rail at deadly speeds. Close down this boondoggle.

It is utter insanity to run high speed rail through the middle of densely populated areas. This is akin to locating the turnpike through downtown areas.

Less trains at lower speeds

Please make Brightline reduce speeds through Brevard County.

Please Governor do this as it is really scary to imagine the trains coming over our tracks at such an unbelievable speed. They also block our road to the hospital.
