Brightline is a deadly rail service which must be regulated and stopped until real safety measures are in place. It is killing one person every two weeks and that will only escalate as they run faster and faster.

It’s is unconstitutional to have a Private owned train going through residential areas at such a dangerous spleen or matter the rail blocks. it shouldn’t be near so many homes for any reason. And the gas On the line as well. Right next to the water supply at that. you sound ludicrous. This is hazardous in so many ways. you should your lack of intelligence

Thanks Susan, for organizing this! I left Brevard County after college in 1984, and worked my 40yr professional career around Washington DC, intent on returning to Brevard for retirement. Since returning to Brevard at retirement in 2019, I have found the overdevelopment and deteriorating waterway conditions very disheartening. This bright line train will sadly exterminate the last vestige of peace. For my remaining days, I will support any vestige of effort to preserve the peacefully SAFE environment that some of us knew.

Trains regularly travelling at 110 mph anywhere near the highly populated Florida east coast is a very bad idea.

We need safety road crossings in Vero.
We do not need trains running 110 miles per hr. 36 trains during a 24 Hr. period, so when do we cross the tracks. Get ready for the Lawsuits'.

I feel that I have heard of too many accidents. Trains going that fast through populated towns are just an invitation to more tragic accidents

This will cause carnage on the tracks. I am sure of it.

The train is too fast and will cause death and destruction in the Treasure Coast. The whole Brightline project is not financially viable.

I do not believe the Brightline trains can safely travel at 110 mph through the Treasure Coast without further investigation studying the impact on tracks used for freight as well as open tracks at most crossings.

110mph through a town is ridiculous. This is just disaster waiting to happen.

More study needed of crossings at route 1 & those on old Dixie rHighway are very unsafe without 100+ mph trains. It easy to get caught between the “saftey” gates when there’s a stop sign right after you go over the tracks. Trains should have been moved out of town toward I-95
