Briggs is far to hot, and causes a lot of distractions within the classroom.

It's either too cold or too hot. I went to Oakland Community College and was very upset at the accommodations offered by UDM.

We pay a lot in tuition, the least the university can do is provide comfortable classrooms

Yes, its a "student-centered" issue. They are not happy about the hot classrooms, an annual occurrence.

Having classes in intense humidity and heat is very uncomfortable for both staff and students. It makes learning conditions hard and often times unbearable. Multiple classes of mine have been cut short due to the uncomfortable conditions in which we have to deal with. This is frustrating because I am paying for these classes and I expect to get my moneys worth of knowledge. Please consider making the learning environment comfortable for us here in Briggs. All of my classes are in this building, it would mean a lot to me and many many others.

The heat levels in Briggs create an uncomfortable and unsafe learning environment.

The heat makes it hard for students to concentrate! I think a half of my students melted yesterday in Briggs 301.

I have 3/5 classes in Briggs this semester and I sweat in every single class. It's hard to pay attention when you have to fan yourself off with a folder during a lecture.

The conditions in the Briggs building during the warm months are inhumane and not suitable for learning and studying.

I’m a psychology major so majority of my classes are in Briggs. It can be very hard to concentrate when your constantly fanning yourself or other people around you are fanning themselves trying to keep cool. AC is essential for success.
