With a certification in meteorology from Mississippi State University Bobeth Yates resume expands from her days as a meteorologist for WJCL in Savannah, Georgia and KFBB in Great Falls, Montana.
Bobeth Yates' detemination and fearless skill set excelled during her 7 year tenured at WWSB in Sarasota, FL as an in field meteorologist covering historical hurricane Irma.
Bobeth Yates multiple skill set and resume is the perfect candidate that is needed to fill the vacancy for the WGCL weekend meteorologist position.

The management at CBS 46 continues to ignore the obvious need for a meteorologist with the actual experience and grit that Bobeth Yates brings to the table. We are not letting them brush this off while they leave such a critical position empty or poorly staffed. Their silence is insulting to every person who depends on accurate weather reporting.

Bobeth is a dedicated person and we need a full time person doing the weather on the weekends not a part timer!!
It is well past time for CBS 46 to utilize more of Bobeth Yates immense talent, by placing her as the weekend meteorologist for the station. It is a genuine shame that she has not been, given her experience, utilized more as a meteorologist in the Metro Atlanta market. I look forward to seeing Ms. Yates in front of the green screen soon.
The text for the petition should say “weekend morning meteorologist”. I don’t want to see Molly McCollum get let go. She’s too good at what she does in weekend evenings. As for Alexandra Steele, she’s cool, but I see no problem with sending her back to TWC (The Weather Channel) just to have her role as a contributor to TWC made full time.
Make Bobeth the weekend meteorologist to add on the already all-female weather staff
She's a great meteorologist with a warm personality Made me stop to watch the weather when I usually pass it by.
