My daughter would love ASL as an offered class and so many could benefit.

This is a brilliant idea that should happen in every school. I'm in Scotland and will be contacting my msp about our schools.

It is found that children with language disabilities like dyslexia can't learn a foreign language but can learn ASL. It will help those children get to college.

I took ASL in college and was able to introduce my elementary and middle school students to it in a private school. It's a beautiful language that comes with a rich culture and history. Including ASL in county schools will promote inclusion, understanding, and enhance brain development of hearing and hearing impaired students.

Any class to support communication with others of different nationalities or other forms of communication, hence, sign language or computer technology, need to be supported so we can close gaps between one another in order to take time to understand each other. It's called RESPECT! ❣️

I have been working for the board of ed as an ASL interpreter for 18 years. I highly support ASL being taught as a foreign language.
