We request that Saturdays be declared a holiday. With Monday tests and assignments spread throughout the week, students face relentless academic pressure. There is no time left for rest, play, or personal space. This is leading to stress and burnout. Many other schools have already adopted a five-day week. A weekly break is essential for recovery, balance, and sustained performance. Keeping Saturdays off is not a privilege but a need.

My request to school administration to consider keeping all Saturdays off as the kids are in tremendous pressure of keeping up with school work during the week and Monday tests preparation, which takes up almost all of the Sunday. We need to take off some pressure off them by giving their bodies and mind a little time to rejuvenate also. Alternatively, we can cut down summer and winter break by few days to compensate. With a hope that I could do something for our children I am signing this petition. Regards Sakshi
