Petition to Make Saturdays Non-Working for Students at Mother's International School
We, the parents of Mother’s International School, request that Saturdays be made non-working for students. Right now, children are overburdened with academics throughout the week and often spend Sundays preparing for Monday tests, leaving them hardly any time to rest, pursue hobbies, or spend quality time with family.
An informal poll of parents showed that approximately 90% support having Saturdays off. We understand the need to meet required working days and suggest alternative solutions, such as shortening summer break or slightly extending daily school hours.
We urge the school to consider this change for the balanced development and well-being of our children.

Adjust Saturdays with long summer break . Our families are not in Delhi . Its almost impossible to attend most of the family functions for the child .
For all-round upbringing free time is required for kids, so Saturday should be off. Also there should be no Test on Mondays as kids keep studying on Saturdays-Sundays too... Tests should be taken on Thursday/ Friday for keeping Saturday and Sunday fully free for the kids. Thanks
Working parents needs to allign days with their children to spend good time also for the well being of the family. It helps to plan well for the upcoming week as well. Hence, all Saturday's should be off.
If children get an off on Saturday, then at least one day—Sunday—should truly belong to them. They need unstructured time to rejuvenate, pursue hobbies, pick up new skills, and spend meaningful moments with family, rather than being constantly hooked to books
Kids class 6 onwards feels no less than a corporate juggling for balance. They are hardly left with any time for sports, other activities or any me time. Values taught by school till class 5 loosing their relevance.

This can be worked out for at least 2nd and 4th Saturday if not all. We can reduce the summer breaks by 5-6 days and will surely get 4th off also for the whole year. Must be considered seriously.
