There are too many people coming and going to this park which is located next to an elementary school and a bus stop. It’s unsafe and unwelcoming for the children.

I am requesting for more of an initiative to take more care & compassion for the homeless. Our city of San Diego is very big. Our homeless population expands every single day. This increases the opportunity for each of them to support themselves how ever they can. It brings on thoughts of begging stealing, vandalism,
This is so unfortunate for them. I am asking you that there are changes made in our City & State department to find safe housing & a promise to them to " Do NOT JUDGE " them, but encourage Honesty & A Safe Haven for them.
(For them it is the same as someone who will not go to church because they do not believe in God). But that same someone who that doesn't believe in God....
they still have a place to live to feel safe and believe in a higher being.
We are just asking for us to feel safe in our community and would like the city to realize & commit to results in order to helping Homeless & We, ; who are residents of Kensington feel safer.

There is woman and her two kids living in their broken down van on Wilson by 99 cent store... so sad, but not ok

Adams Ave Park used to be a nice little area to sit and watch the baseball games. Now, it is full of refuse, excrement and aggressive homeless people. Please have the area cleaned, cleared. These homeless need to be in a designated location.

I see homeless perusing my street on foot or bike looking for opportunities. Break ins have increased, its time to do something about our neighborhood.

The park is unsafe for everyon, I’m concerned about the spread of Hepatitis A in our neighborhood. Police need to take action against the homeless people who break the law by urinating/defecating in public, drug users, theft and threatening behavior.

Each homeless person at the park has 2-3 bikes with them at any given time. They spend the day taken them apart and putting them back together with different bike parks so you can’t prove they’re stolen. Few weeks back I had a bike stolen and I caught one of the homeless guys walking down the street with it.

I’ve watched from my office the same homeless guy take a dump by the 7/11 electrical boxes 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The same boxes I see kids sit on. I saw one drunk homeless guy punch a work someone’s truck yesterday trying to get the driver to fight. Why is the city allowing this to happen?

It has gotten out of control. The new batch of homeless are drinking, smoking pot, taking bikes apart which are obviously stolen and make it so nobody can come enjoy the park. They drink and smoke pot in my alley adjacent to the park as well. It’s unsafe being so close to the children in the schools, community Center and church. Something needs to be done. Desert landscape would be a huge step in the right direction.
