Cars go too fast here and at many stretched through Chailey. Should be 30 and have a safe crossing.

My nephews and niece have to cross this road to get to secondary school. It affects everyone who lives in or visits the village - Can't believe there is not a crossing there already and there shoudl be a 30 mph limit with wraning signs if you go over as there are in many other villages

It's a very fast road and the curve of the road right at the junction with Mill Lane makes it tricky to be sure the road is safe to cross when so many vehicles break the speed limit.

My niece was knocked down at the Mill Lane junction by a work van last week and suffered a broken collar bone and foot. The whole stretch of the A725 road in South Chailey from Mill Lane right past the Horns Lodge is horrendous for speeding cars who often exceed the speed limit. My mum has who is elderley has almost been ran over on a few occasions in South Chailey whilst trying to cross from the bus stop over the road from The Horns Lodge, so not only do several more safe crossings need to be put in, the speed limin needs to be reduced through the whole village.
