I am a single mom working at a public school and attending night classes at Hunter - I bike from BK to NYC for classes. Keep people like me in mind when you’re managing car/bike balance on our roads, please.

Everything that can be done to make our streets safer for pedestrians and bicyclists, should be done.

South Slope/ Greenwood is plagued by heavy traffic such as this intersection and also on 20th St. between 7th and 6th Avenue. It extremely dangerous especially for children. There needs to be traffic calming measures - large tractor trailers speed through the neighborhood on a regular basis.

I visit this area regularly and have experienced the confusion noted in the petition. Please do something to ensure everyone's safety.

This entire area of Brooklyn needs help from the DOT.

This area of Greenwood Heights can be very disorienting for drivers, as 7th Ave turns into a one-way street. Signage is the very least we can do to try to make our neighborhood safer for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists alike!

A stop sign would be a smart and easy fix here.

Given the goals of Vision Zero it seems a no brainer for the DOT to agree to exactly what the residents are asking for. This is their lived experience after all.
