I'm perplexed at what could possibly be the issue. Surely permits from year to year are consistent so what's the real change from last year. Convenient for council to blame the promoters when it's their goal posts that have most probably changed.
Have been to maitre and other festivals for 20+ years. Hope a sensible solution is reached and the show goes on.

Festivals like this encourage people to get out of the major cities and travel to parts of our beautiful country they may never see otherwise. The festival attracts peace loving music lovers and is a boon for the local community - what's not to like?

This would be devasting for the community and the patrons if this event were not to go ahead.

Maitreya needs to continue, for the benefit of honest hard working visitors, and the benefit of honest hard working locals.

Maitreya festival is one of the most enjoyable expirences I've ever had in my life. To not let this festival happen is just you guys probably listening to some mother ducker who's so self deluded person who doesn't want the festival to happen. Stop denying us our right to love live and enjoy and let this festival continue!!!
