Maitreya Festival at Wooroonook Lake in 2016 & beyond

Let maitreya happen! I have been the last 3 years and always had a positive experiance

Too much unnecessary "red tape" in this country. These events serve a purpose and help local economies.

I'm in disbelief that this wonderful festival may be canceled especially on there 10th anniversary :( I don't see why cancel a festival that has been running for such a long time.

Please help keep maitreya!

keep it going you cannot shut down this event that so many people love and also stop the small community from benefitting the vast number that buy from small country towns along the way

Think of all the communities benefits and the atmosphere n vibes that won't be the same without this venue

It is vital for arts culture within the state of Victoria that festivals like Maitreya be allowed to go ahead. It is important from both a cultural and economic standpoint for the communities that hosts these electronic music festivals.

Stop trying to take away our freedom like with everything else you's take away from us pretty soon you'll make it illegal to think so get your heads out of your arses and leave people alone and let them have their fun in peace. The real crooks are the ones in government anyway about time you's woke up!

We can't lose Maitreya, its too important for everyone involved

I went to this festival 3 years ago and i really found myself, if it wasn't for this time for peace and harmony I don't know where I would be! We bring love and kind generosity to the community Let us dance and kick dust! Xxxx doofpuppa

Maitreya is amazing, so welcoming. I finally know what a sense of community feels like now, I also feel grateful for the opportunity to purchase a ticket knowing good money will be going towards building a stronger comunity. Maitreya is a celebration of friendship,kindness & COMUNITY

Everyone wins when a festival put on for this big scale. Its sad a small group of people can effect such big community expression of life and financial contribution to a country town. When is common sense going to be common.

It'd be incredibly sad for the festival jot to go ahead. And also be a let down economically.
