The Chinese company (CRBC) doing the SGR from their site in Rangau has spoilt our Rimpa to Nazarene road. In addition the clouds of dust they raise is affecting the children who use that road/in schools in the area as well as the residents. We request for the tamarcking of the remaining section (Rimpa-Maasai lodge junction) to ease the negative effects.

Developments come with responsibilities. That is what all responsible citizens should do. The situation should be a win win and not a win lose as it stands now. I support the maintenance of the rimpa road soonest.

The degradation of the Rimpa-Ole Kasasi road has been occasioned by the heavy Chinese trucks transporting construction materials to their site. It will be prudent for the to repair the road. The Chinese trucks reversed the recent grading of the road by KeRRA. We support construction of the SGR while at the same time asking for our road to be maintaned and the untamarcked 5km section be tamarcked.

We have suffered so much as a community regarding this road. Unsafe for our children and other pedestrians with no walkways, too much dust, over speeding especially by the big trucks carrying materials, dilapidated road that has made our vehicles incur huge repair costs, etc.
We really need this road done even just to ease traffic jam within the area. We are very unhappy with this turn of events and fear the worst.

However, this should not be counted as CSR, they are using the road to construct the site station.

The road was not designed for such volume of heavy trucks and now it's completely worn out.
We need a remediation plan.

Consistent watering of the road in it's current condition will spare us the dust which is not only a health hazard but also an accident risk due to loss of visibility.
