Maintain the integrity of the LACCD Child Development Lab Schools

We need to continue providing the necessity resources for our students and resources. These cuts will cut deep if we continue to let them strip our campus of much needed aids and resources

LAHC CDC teachers and staff are amazing!

Please keep high stanadards and credentials for this child development center. A lot of families and community members depend on it. And it helps build strong foundations for the kids who will be future community members and contribute to our world. Thank you.

My niece has learned a lot in the Las 6 month she has been in this program. Please do not take away the opportunity to these children to get early education

I stand with the CDC!

I’m currently attending Los Angeles Harbor college as well as working. This program has help me to reduce my stress, by not wondering if I will have child care for my two year old son.

LAHC Child Development Center is one of the best EC programs, it has benefit two of my children and more than a handful of family and friend’s children I know. LAHC Child Developmnet Center follows a meaningful structure in their classes and puts in practice the proper child development theory. If the center is closed, I will be significantly impacted as I do not have any other school of preference to enroll my daughter and her development would be stall. Please keep the center open!

Early educators are key to the quality of early care and education programs. We need to ensure that opportunities exist for them to gain the education and skills necessary to provide that perfect balance of nurturing and stimulating environments based on sound research and practical experience with an emphasis on adult/child relationships. Furthermore, work is needed to ensure equitable compensation based on education and experience that recognizes this important work of impacting children's well-being while preparing them for life and strengthening families.

There should be no price on education

The faculty director and teachers of the Child Development Center need to be valued and paid as the professionals that they are, not treated as glorified babysitters.

I support the Teachers, Child Development Students, but most of all the Children, and Parent at this school. They need more staff to better meet the needs of the children. You need the to keep qualified teachers who not only provide amazing services for the children but teach the future teachers. It’s a lab school!!! Teachers are the core of that facility!
