Maintain Status Quo - Dog Owners Against Proposed Leashing on Hiking Trails by USFS

Please let me walk my dog without a leash! He is well-behaved and loves to run around free!

Please do not impose this new law upon the public that currently enjoys these hiking areas safely and responsibly

I think most hikers whose dogs are off leash have friendly dogs. Most pick up after them, which many humans don't as witnessed by the trash bags I carry and fill.

Too many rules.

The dogs aren't causing any problems in 99% of cases. I don't want a vocal minority to restrict the majority of good dogs, dog owners and dog lovers.

No leashes for my dogs!

We have enough govenment suppression already. We need somewhere to let our dogs enjoy being off leash.

Dogs need places to run free. If they don't, they become agressive.

These trails are frequented by avid hikers and cyclists, many of whom are also dog owners/dog lovers. We wish that these trails remain open to dogs being allowed off-leash. All of the lower trails are off-leash and most people I know with dogs do not frequent those trails because of this. I would no longer home in Cheyenne Canyon if my dog could not be off leash.

I have an australian shepherd who needs exercise which she does not get on a leash. I think all well-behaved dogs should be allowed to run off leash in our parks.

As a compromise to this situation, I would be willing to participate in a Tag Program like the one in Boulder. Thank you for helping to keep our well behaved dogs happy! (as well as their owners!)

This is another ridiculous infringement on individual freedom based on the bad behavior of a few. Let's go after real criminals and leave the poor dogs alone!

I think on hiking trails it is great to take your dog

Trails may be the only place left for dogs to run free. Yards are smaller or not at all.

I would love to take a hike with my pups enjoying it add much as I do. My dogs stay right by me and are super friendly, people need to be honest and use their judgment, if you have a dog that doesn't stay by you or that is not friendly then keep it on a leash!!!

Good dogs don't need leashes.

please keep this area leash free. my 3 dogs would appreciate. For us weekend hikers who love hiking with our well behaved 4 legged friends. it's so much nicer for them and for us to let them run their ya-ya's out. most if not all owners on these trails are always courteous when approaching other hikers, bikers, and other dogs.
