Thanks for the advice on writing to our MP. This will be sent today asking for further investigation on process / value for money / why community facilities have to be demolished when not life expired etc
The question also is... who has seen sight of the costs v benefits of the changes proposed. Our access to good sporting facilities appears to be undervalued compared to selling the land from underneath our facilities.

This facility should not be closed before a replacement is opened. Closure prior to replacement would be damaging to many groups of all ages who rely on this facility.

The local community needs facilities like this and we should be fighting to keep them open and give the youngsters something to do

What a waste of public money! A good well used multi-purpose Hall vital to the Community is being swept away without consultation. Is the County going to put it's hands in its pockets and pay for a new one? You bet they're not!

People are constantly being told to keep active and lead a healthy lifestyle. How can they possibly do this when much needed local facilities such as these are whipped away from them, removing yet more of that community spirit which has been so important in the past but which no one seems to have any regard for now.

Seems ridiculous that such good facilities can be closed with no consultation or provision of adequate other facilities

Please do not let these buildings be closed to our young people and the wider community. Community spaces and places for people of all ages to use are vital to the very heart of a successful, thriving and close knit community.

Once community facilities are lost they tend to be lost forever. Let's keep our children active and similarly our adults minds.

Straight from the Conservative manifesto: " We know how important it is to preserve
vital community assets such as pubs, town halls and sports
facilities". You can also see their full sports manifesto online. As well as signing this, write to the local (Tory) MP directly via WriteToThem.

It would be such a loss to the community - please don't sell the buildings for housing! Think of the groups that will suffer and the kids that will miss opportunities.
