I am completely against the new Lock Box System!! Maybe someone should have taken a vote prior to making decisions for those of us this involves!!

If members need to pay then we should get to vote on if we want it. Isn't that democracy versus a dictatorship?

I do not want this new system. I have never had a problem with the mechanical boxes.

The plan to change to a newer version of Supra boxes is flawed. The membership was not adequately consulted nor given adequate time to react. I did go to the Supra training so I would be knowledgeable about the proposal. After much consideration I do not believe this is needed or wanted by the vast majority of agents in the field. It was implemented without input from the majority of agents and is a waste of money.
Lets get back to the mechanical lock boxes. This electronic system is not needed and has been nothing but a big headache.

I attended one of the meetings yesterday. For those without a smart phone that's compatible they have devices thar you can 'lease' for the same$13.95/mo but they have to be charged just like a cell phone and if you lose or break it you have to buy a new one ...like $250! And the same goes for the lockboxes. You will lease them for the $14.95/mo but if you lose/break it you owe Supra $100! And the window to join is 90 days after 12/9. After 90 days it will cost you a $100 one time fee to subscribe. I just kept hearing about more fees!

I feel very strongly about this issue. I do not use electronic lock boxes now, nor do I intend to do so in the future.

The fact of the matter is that my phone is not "app"licable and I have no intention of buying a phone that portends to be "smart" just so that I can open a lock box. My current phone is quite smart enough thank you.

This is a solution looking for a problem. Very disappointed in the lack of communication by MREIS . Mechanical lockboxes work for the majority of listings.
